Positive Comments

I love Virgin America! This was my first time using them. The mood lighting is awesome, puts you in a good mood right away. The staff are super nice, young and nicely dressed. They were very helpful and act like I was doing them a favor. It's nice to fly a service carrier once in a while. The check-in at Logan was fast and they even have checkin kioks if you like that type of thing. Seat was comfortable and good sized. Tons of entertainment to keep me busy even though it wasn't that long a flight to Los Angeles.

Negative Comments

I don't have anything bad to say. It was an all around great experience.

If you're flying into Johannesburg, Cape Town or Durban, use a luggage shrink wrapping service that secures your baggage from being opened. Apparently there is a luggage pilfering problem though I've never had any issues.

It's cheaper to rent a car from an online travel agent outside of South Africa than locally. (I don't know why!) Saved me 100 Rand on my last rental.

Always bring your international drivers license with you, the police in South Africa are *very* particular about it. You don't want to give them a chance to hassle you at all.
